Finnair Media provides a premium advertising platform both at the airport and on board, allowing advertisers to engage travellers before and during their flights. This seamless integration ensures maximum campaign frequency and visibility.
Onboard ad placements
All onboard advertisements should be primarily in English. Please be in touch for advertisements in Finnish, Swedish and other languages.
Onboard pre-roll video
Pre-roll advertisements play before movies and TV shows on the in-flight entertainment system. 7,000 screens with approximately 100,000 impressions per week.
Advertisement asset requirements
- Advertisement length 10–30 seconds (can be skipped after 10 seconds)
- File format: mp4, mov, h.264 or h.265 encoding
- Aspect ratio 16:9
- Resolution 1080p (no 4k)
- High-quality bitrate for both audio and video

Finnair Media is available for advertisers and Finnair’s marketing partners. Finnair Media reserves the right to choose all content that is published in Finnair Media. It is not allowed to forward media space to a third party or to utilise it for marketing third-party brands, products or services without prior consent from Finnair Media.
Cancellations must be made to finnairmedia@finnair.com. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the material deadline will be charged 50% of the agreed price.
VAT 25.5% will be added to all media prices.
Media agency discounts on gross prices may be granted to media agencies that have made an agreement with Finnair Media.
